The WTTC now has online an Ironport appliance as of September 1, 2007. This unit resides at Region 14 and services those districts whose email service is supplied by the ESC. You may be receiving an Ironport Spam Quarantine Notification via email which lists for you those messages the system deems questionable. If the messages listed are spam you need do nothing. They will be deleted automatically in a week or so.

I have placed here a software file called SpamPal. SpamPal works between your email server and your email client to catch spam email as it is downloaded to your computer and places it in a folder away from your regular mail. I have set up SpamPal on my own computer and it seems to work very well. This version 1.594 is now for POP3 mail and SMTP clients.

The zip file contains the SpamPal software. It is about 788Kb in size and should not take much time to download on your machine at school. The software is absolutely free and is a full working version. If you want more information about SpamPal go to SpamPal.org

I found this product at Panicware.com. It blocks all pop-ups if you are using Netscape or IE. I haven't seen a pop-up window yet. :) A warning: It blocked my pop-up window that allows me to upload software to this page so it blocks ALL pop-ups. This version is free.
