Region 14 co-hosts a family conference each year for parents, siblings, care-givers and students with significant developmental disabilities. The conference is held at Hardin Simmons University. There is no cost to attend and lunch is provided. Topics of interest include legal counsel regarding trusts and guardianships, financial planning, government benefits, and more. Students with disabilities and their siblings enjoy recreational activities, social skills and sibling support.
