Region 14 provides leadership and support for school districts and parents by assisting in the development of educational programs appropriate for the needs of students with autism and low incidence disabilities. Students with low incidence disabilities include those with Significant Cognitive Disabilities, Deaf-blindness or students who are Medically Fragile.
Services include: professional development, on-site observation, staff development, interagency collaboration, e-mail and telephone correspondence, parent training and support for parents attending conferences.
