The Diverse Learners Conference is a venue to provide professional development for administrators, educators and paraprofessionals to enable them to meet the needs of diverse learners. Diverse learners are students with various learning styles, struggling general education students, gifted learners, English language learners, students with learning disabilities, as well as students with emotional or behavior concerns. Due to the increasing numbers of inclusion schools within our region, the goal of the conference is to combine our efforts to provide teachers with the types of training that will support all students to access the general curriculum.

The Conference will be June 9th, 10th, and 11th at Region 14 Education Service Center. The conference is available to all educators, paraprofessionals and administrators of Region 14. All of the presentations will be full day trainings to provide intense training. Participants have the option of attending one, two or three days of the training.
