The Center for Young Learners (CYL) serves all preschool children in the Region 14 area. CYL includes Preschool Programs for Children with Disabilities (PPCD), Pre-Kindergarten programs and Head Start.

The PPCD program serves 3 and 4 year old children with disabilities in all 43 school districts of the Region.

Our Head Start program serves 3 through 5-year-old economically disadvantaged children and their families in Head Start Classrooms on public school campuses in the following districts:

Albany ISD
Anson ISD
Breckenridge ISD
Hamlin ISD
Haskell ISD
Moran ISD
Stamford ISD
Merkel ISD - Tye campus
Sweetwater ISD
Rotan ISD
Colorado ISD

We also serve Early Head Start children aged 0-3 on the Sweetwater ISD campus, JP Cowan.

In addition, ESC 14 Head Start operates a home-based Head Start program in Rule, Rochester, and Haskell.
