Assistive Technology

Training and technical assistance is available in the most current developments in Assistive Technology. Assistance is given to promote best practices and the development of literacy for those with significant communications needs. Technical assistance is also provided in the area of assessment of Assistive Technology needs.
Student Achievement

Assistive technology in the classroom has the potential to augment abilities and bypass or compensate for barriers that disabilites create. The tools to extend physical, social, & communicative abilities are available for curriculum support.
Assistive technology may also provide a means of academic and cooperative inclusion.
