Title III SSA & Bilingual / ESL
Region XIV Bilingual/ESL personnel provide services to districts through the Title III Shared Services Arrangement. This SSA implements Title III: English Language Acquisition, Language Enhancement and Academic Achievement for LEP and Immigrant Students, a federal program authorized under No Child Left Behind. The main goal of this SSA is to provide research-based, sustained professional development to participating districts. In addition, we strive to provide the most efficient, effective, and up-to-date technical assistance (via phone, email, or face-to-face) to meet the needs of our districts.

> Preparation for the TExES ESL 154 Exam
> Preparation for the TExES Bilingual and TOPT Exams
> On-Site Visits
> A check-out library of Oral Language Proficiency Tests(OLPTs) Including: Woodcock Munoz, IPT, & LAS (all available in Spanish and English)
> LPAC and OLPT training
> TELPAS Rater Training
> Performance Monitoring & Interventions support > various support materials to enable teachers to help students who speak languages other than English gain full access to the public education systems in Region XIV
> Parent Trainings in Spanish
> ELLIS Software training for districts with program
