NGS Timeline Requirements
Daily
Must keep a Terminal Site Log to document daily procedures for incoming data. Must stamp ALL data showing date received and date entered, must log calls and faxes also.

June 30 - Supplemental Program Data for all children

June - August - Summer School Enrollments and Withdrawals due within 5 working days (grades, supplemental programs, and assessments when applicable)

August - July - Enrollments COE Regular /year-round within 5 working days of parent signature of COE

August - July - Early Withdrawals within 2 working days (Immunizations, Secondary Credit (6-12), Formal Assessments, Supplemental, and Special Needs)

August - July - Termination Reasons and Drop Out Indicator within 5 working days after notification

September 30 or 5 days after initial enrollment - Graduation Plans for grades 9-12 and students in grade 8 taking high school credits

Limited English Proficient (LEP) for grades K-12

October 1 - Required Training for NGS specialists and other personnel

November 1 - Residency Verification for B.1 by November 1 for existining COEs, and B.2 5 days of new COE, this should be a year round process.

January - May - Secondary Credit - Fall/Spring Semester Grades and Not On Time for Graduation Indicator
Fall - 10 working days after end of semester or February 26
Spring - 5 working days after end of semester and Not On Time for Graduation data. Request and print the On Time for Graduation Report at the end of the school year.

Missing Credits (Prior Grades) and Partial Grades Consolidation - 5 working days after initial enrollment or by February 26 for fall grades; or within 10 working days after receipt of spring grades and the Not On Time for Graduation data.

Early Withdrawal and At Risk of Non-Promotion Indicator - 2 working days

February 12 - Alternate Student Id Request Alternate Student ID report then enter updates by February 26.

March 5 - Immunizations 2 working days upon early withdrawal or by above date

After March 1 but before June 1 - Facility Updates and Contact Information - 2 working days

Formal Assessment Data(TAKS) for Grades 3-12 - 2 working days upon early withdrawal or 5 working days at end of the school year or by July 15.

Regular Term Courswork for Grades 6-8 - 2 working days upon early withdrawal or 5 days after school year.

Special Needs and IEP On File Indicator - 2 days early withdrawal or May 3.
Year Round Activities
Recruiting must be an ongoing process ALL year long.

Attend mandatory annual trainings (ID&R by 9/1, NGS by 10/1).
